Saturday mornings at North River just got a little more magical. Bring your youngster to the Nature Center for an hour of indoor nature-themed fun. Read a storybook about the remarkable things animals can do, then meet one of North River's animal ambassadors up close for a memorable encounter that goes well beyond the page. Ask the questions that come to mind, get a good look at a real animal, and find out which superpower it brings to the job of staying alive. This is a charming and welcoming way to spark curiosity and a connection to the natural world. The full hour takes place indoors in the Nature Center. Registration is required, though walk-ins are welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult for the entire program; this is not a drop-off program.
