Some birds are worth driving for. Meet up at a different wildlife sanctuary in the southeast to walk the trails with a naturalist, sharpen your identification skills, and fuel the morning with a batch of legendary home-baked scones. Search for wildlife as you walk the meadow trails that lead to a riverside platform with prime views of bald eagles and a wide range of winter waterfowl. Learn the difference between diving and dabbling ducks and get tips for how to find and identify them on your own. North River Wildlife Sanctuary: Meet in the parking lot at 2000 Main St, Marshfield, MA 02050. This program takes place entirely outdoors. Wear sturdy footwear and weather-appropriate layers.
