In this class, students learn self-defense and personal safety through the study of Seirenkai Jujitsu, a modern evolution of traditional Japanese Jujitsu focused on safety, responsibility, and practical self-defense. Students will learn to de-escalate conflict verbally whenever possible, but are also trained to respond appropriately when physical defense is necessary. With well over 30 years experience, instructors from Concord Self-Defense Academy emphasize personal safety and building confidence in a supportive community that welcomes all ages 11 and up and all skill levels.
