Building Community Book Club, Great Reads

The Library has been selected as a Great Reads from Great Places partner. With support from the Massachusetts Center for the Book, including copies of the book to share with readers, Building Community Book Club will join organizations across the state in reading Nothing More of this Land: Community, Power, and the Search for Indigenous Identity by Joseph Lee. On Tuesday, September 29, the Main Library will host a watch party with the author, who will join us virtually for a talk and Q&A. Copies of the book will be available at Fowler and the ebook and eAudiobook are available through Libby. As a Great Reads MA partner, the Library is working with The League of Women Voters of Concord Carlisle, the Concord-Carlisle Human Rights Council, the Concord Visitors' Center, and the Concord Museum. Continue your exploration of Massachusetts indigenous identity at the Concord Museum at their free Indigenous Peoples' Day Family Program with the Wampanoag Nation Singers and Dancers on Monday, October 12 at 10 AM.
