Some of the best conversations unfold while meandering through a peaceful trail. Start with a warm welcome inside the Nature Center, where you will sip a warm cup of tea while one of our naturalists teaches how to tell common animal tracks apart. Then, head outside into the formal garden for a short walk, putting the lesson to work and scanning the winter landscape for signs of wildlife. Whether you are a Habitat regular or a new visitor, you will learn something new and fall a little more in love with our local nature. The program begins indoors in the Nature Center and continues outdoors with a short walk in the formal garden. If the snow is deep enough, the walk will be done on snowshoes. Let staff know in advance about any allergies. More details on what to bring and expect will be emailed to you ahead of the program.
