This October, homeschoolers will delve into the world of shadows and mystery, unveiling the truth behind some of nature's spookier subjects. Secrets of snakes, bone-yard puzzles, and myth-busting facts that will drive you batty, are some of the themes for the month's programs. Although this program is geared towards homeschoolers grades K-4, all visitors are welcome to attend these programs. *Note: The same program is offered twice a week, on Monday morning and Wednesday morning. Mondays, 11AM-12PM 10/5: Bats 10/12: Skeleton Crew 10/19: Creepy Critters (Snakes, Spiders, and More) 10/26: Haunted Hike - Wear a costume and get some candy at the end of the hike! Wednesdays, 11AM-12PM 10/7: Bats 10/14: Skeleton Crew 10/21: Creepy Critters (Snakes, Spiders, and More) 10/28: Haunted Hike - Wear a costume and get some candy at the end of the hike! Be sure to wear weather-appropriate clothing and bring a bottle of water to stay hydrated. Hikes and other outdoor activities should be anticipated for any of these programs.
