Driving Through History: Van Tour of the New River Trail (North End)

Want to experience the New River Trail State Park in a way few people get a chance to? Join us for a van tour. The ride will last from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. The tour will follow the trail that was once the rail line of Norfolk and Western. There will be stops along the way for restroom use and lunch. Lunch will not be provided; plan to pack all of your food, drink, and dietary needs. Meeting place: Depot at Foster Falls Pre-registration is required since seating is limited. Pets are not allowed on the tour. The program fee is $15 per participant, and visitors can call 276-699-6778 to register. T his program is entirely weather dependent. If the trail conditions aren't favorable, then the rides will be cancelled; you will be notified.
