Join Walkabout Outfitter, Sage Bird, and HDR as we participate in a special BioBlitz hike this September! What's a BioBlitz? The City of Harrisonburg, along with communities worldwide, are participating in a challenge to document different pollinator plant and animal species throughout the month. Simply keep an eye out and snap photos of your findings in the iNaturalist app. No previous experience or knowledge of local plant and animal species needed. When : Sunday, September 20th; leave from Walkabout in Harrisonburg by 1:30pm 90 N. Main St, Harrisonburg, VA Where: Friendly City Trail 801 Hillandale Ave Harrisonburg, VA 22801 Time: 2 hours Challenge Level: Beginner/Easy Terrain: Flat, paved path FYI: Family-friendly, kid-friendly, dog-friendly, stroller-friendly, & open to all abilities! *We will meet up at Sage Bird around 4pm to enjoy Happy Hour specials of 10% off flatbreads & paninis and 50% off glasses of wine from open bottles 'til close.
