National Public Lands Day is the nation's largest, single‐day volunteer effort for public lands and works to connect people to public lands in their community, inspire environmental stewardship, and encourage use of public lands for education, recreation, and general health. Celebrate this nation-wide day with us at Twin Lakes State Park by helping keep the park beautiful by ridding it of litter. Meet at the Discovery Center to pick up a trash grabber and bag or bucket any time between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. This is a free parking day for all Virginia State Parks.
