Whose Track is That?

Friday, September 25, 2026 · 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM

James River State Park — 104 Green Hill Dr., Gladstone, VA

Just because we don’t always spot them, we know the animals are around by the tracks and traces they leave behind. We will take a look at the different animal tracks you might find here in the park and the possible clues that might help you figure out what was walking about when you weren’t looking. At the end we'll make a plaster mold of an animal track you can take home as a keepsake. Please meet at Green Hill Pond. All materials provided. Suitable for all ages. Wear appropriate clothing and shoes for the weather and bring a water bottle with you. Parks are for everyone, please let us know if you need special accommodation.
