Just as caterpillars grow and change, our Caterpillar Club programs are designed to help your little one grow and change. Each week, we will have you and your child(ren) exploring our natural world through a variety of seasonally appropriate, hands-on activities that will foster children's inborn sense of wonder and curiosity. These experiences are gauged towards early childhood (3-5 years old), but of course, all family members are welcome and encouraged to participate. Every program supports Virginia's Blocks for Early Learning. Please dress for the weather. October 1 – Raccoons: Celebrate International Raccoon Appreciation Day. October 8 – Animal Movement: Move like you favorite Virginia animals through fun games! October 15 – Fossils: What will you find searching for fossils? October 22 – Bats: It’s Bat week!
