Join the Friends of Kiptopeke State Park for a special celebration of World Migratory Bird Day and 50 years of the Kiptopeke Hawkwatch! Kiptopeke State Park is an important stop along the Atlantic Flyway, making it an incredible place to experience fall migration. Spend the day celebrating the thousands of birds and raptors that travel through the Eastern Shore each year. The day will feature guided bird walks, birding workshops, educational activities, children's arts and crafts, and opportunities to learn from experienced birders and conservation partners. Whether you're an experienced birder, just getting started or looking for a fun family activity, there will be something for everyone. Parking fees will be covered by the Friends of Kiptopeke State Park for guests who pre-register for the event.
