What swims in the shallows of the Chesapeake Bay? Join Kiptopeke rangers to explore the shoreline of South Beach (located to the left of the fishing pier) and discover the creatures like fish, crabs, and shrimp that call it home. Learn to use three types of nets and work together for a great catch! Please wear closed toe shoes and water appropriate clothing. Children under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult. This is a catch-and-release program. Any animals caught must be kept submerged in the park-provided observation bin during the program and be returned to the Bay by the end.
