Protect Global Children's Therapy Puppet Making (aka Puppet Palooza) is a fun, hands-on volunteer event where community members create therapy sock puppets for children experiencing trauma and hardship. These colorful puppets provide more than entertainment—they serve as tools for comfort, emotional expression, and healing. These puppets help create a safe and engaging way to process fear, grief, anxiety, and uncertainty to communicate feelings that may be difficult to express directly. The completed puppets are carefully packaged and shipped to children in Ukraine. Puppet Palooza combines creativity, compassion, and community service—one puppet, one smile, and one child at a time. This event is for teens and adults. Registration is required. Protect Global Children (PGC) is a volunteer-driven 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing humanitarian relief and hope to children, families, the elderly, and people with disabilities facing hardship and crisis.
