Do you love the sweet smells of freshly baked cookies and warm bread? Are you ready to create delectable desserts that will impress your family and friends? Get ready to mix, measure, and master the art of baking! Join Mr. Casey, Winchester High School’s Culinary Arts teacher for a fun, hands-on course where students will learn the fundamentals of baking from cookies and cakes to breads. Through weekly projects, students will explore essential kitchen skills such as reading recipes, proper measuring techniques, and food safety. Along the way, they’ll learn about ingredients, kitchen tools, and the science behind what makes baked goods rise, brown, and taste amazing. Whether a beginner or already love to bake, this class will help build confidence in the kitchen, encourage creativity, and (of course) end with something delicious to share! No previous experience required – just bring curiosity and a sweet tooth!
