Monday, November 9, 2026 · 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM
Children's Room — 490 Main St., West Newbury, MA
This is the same presentation that was offered on 10/26. Please keep an eye on our website for information about a "Part 2" program coming in the future. An AI assistant is a software application that uses machine learning, natural language processing, and large language models to provide information and organizational support. Join retired IT professional Jean Costello for a practical introduction to AI Assistants. We'll demystify the buzz words and look at what they are, how they work, and how to use them safely and responsibly. We'll explore a few free, privacy-focused AI Assistants and how to write prompts to get more useful results. Come curious and leave with knowledge you can apply right away.
