The U.S. has long been plagued by misinformation. Our info ecosystem is now inundated with inaccurate or misleading AI-generated content — and there’s no end in sight. Join journalist Philip Eil for a session about AI, the role it plays in creating and spreading misinformation, and how you can stay vigilant against its ill effects. About our presenter: Phil is a freelance journalist who was the news editor and staff writer at the alt-weekly, the Providence Phoenix, until the paper closed in 2014. Since then, he’s contributed to VICE, the Atlantic, Men’s Health, The Nation, Boston Magazine, and Huffington Post, among other outlets. He has also taught courses at UMass-Dartmouth, Brown University, and Columbia University’s graduate writing program. Questions?
