Inspired to read Homer's Odyssey but don't know where to start? Join a five-week community reading of The Odyssey, led by Chris Constas, who has guided college undergraduates through The Odyssey many times. The group will meet in person three times, and discussion will focus on 12 of the 24 books of the epic. Any translation is fine, but Prof. Constas uses The Odyssey by Homer , translated by Robert Fagles. Participants are encouraged to read along with an audio version of the translation they plan to use. He is a professor in the Philosophy Department at Boston College.
