Free 6-Week Digital Literacy Course! The Tyngsborough Public Library, in collaboration with the University of Massachusetts Lowell and with funding from the Massachusetts Broadband Institute, is offering a free in-person Digital Literacy course designed for beginners who want to learn the basics of computer and internet use. This 6 week course will introduce participants to essential technology skills, including creating and using an email account, sending and receiving emails, searching the internet effectively, creating Word documents, and an introduction to artificial intelligence (AI) tools. Interpreters are available for this course and must be requested when registering. Participants who complete the course will receive a free Chromebook computer. The course will consist of six 2-hour sessions held on Saturdays: September 12 through October 17, from 10:00 am – 12 noon.
