Ipswich River Wildlife Sanctuary — 87 Perkins Row, Topsfield, MA
Spend a morning scanning the treetops, shrubs, and wetland edges of Ipswich River Wildlife Sanctuary. A Mass Audubon naturalist helps you track the ever-changing cast of birds that move through this productive corridor as winter gives way to spring. This walk is for everyone, whether you are building your life list or simply starting to pay attention to the birds around you. Binoculars are recommended, and spare pairs are available to borrow. Expect to travel up to a mile over flat, even trail. The walk takes place outdoors, so dress for the weather and wear sturdy footwear suited to winter conditions. More details on what to bring and expect will be emailed to you ahead of the program.
