Discover Cody’s family and early life, his service in the Civil War, his disastrous marriage, his reputation as a buffalo hunter and Indian fighter and the growth of his legend. Learn about Cody’s entry into show business, his years of fame and fortune with Buffalo Bill’s Wild West, his later financial problems and his death in Colorado. Led by Daniel Seligman, a retired computer engineer with a lifelong interest in the American West, dating from his days as a small child watching B westerns on a 7-inch TV screen in the 1950s. Over the years he has indulged his interests in extensive readings and travels and, since retirement, in the publication of magazine articles and presentation of seminars on western historical figures.
