**PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A VIRTUAL PROGRAM THAT WILL TAKE PLACE VIA ZOOM. Registrants will receive a link to access the Zoom Webinar via email.** What makes food taste good? What do recipes mean by “season to taste”? Why is your dish just “blah” even though you followed the recipe to the letter? Discover the secret to delicious food by understanding what great cooks often do subconsciously. Learn how to balance the five tastes (salt, sour, sweet, bitter, and umami), the difference between salt types, how to season to taste (e.g., salads and soups), and how to season without tasting (e.g., meat and fish). Led by culinary instructor Helen Rennie . Register directly on Zoom HERE . Please note this is a Q&A, not a cooking demonstration. Presented in collaboration with the Groton Library. RECORDING NOTE: This program will be recorded. All registrants will receive the recording via email within 48 hours of the program.
