Ball for his presentation, "High Gate to Touchdown: Apollo 11’s final descent to the surface of the Moon." Learn why none of the landings that could have been done on autopilot ever were and how the Mark 1 eyeball kept the mission from ending in certain failure. Led by David Ball, who served 26 years in the US Air Force, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel, and is a now a volunteer educator with NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Register directly on Zoom HERE .
