Tansey is the sister of our long time reading dog, Benny. Welcome, Tansey! Children through grade 5 (especially those struggling with reading) are invited to sign up for a one-on-one session with our service dog Tansey. Each session lasts for 15 minutes in private - just you, Tansey, and her human Mom, Melanie. Bring your own book or borrow one of ours to read. This is a great way to build literacy confidence and fluency with a non-judgmental canine reading partner! Barks and Books is open to children reading independently through grade 5.
