The days are getting darker and in the spirit of Edward Gorey, we'll be making creating work to enter in the 2026 Gorey Envelope Art Contest. This year's theme: The Utter Zoo! "This is no peaceable kingdom, this isn’t some petting zoo, this ain’t no disco. We’re talking creatures, either real or imagined, who are tired of being teased and they’ve (literally) got a bone to pick. We’re talking an absolute Utter Zoo. Our 2026 Art Contest will be a compilation of creatures, a bestiary, a compendium of the fictional, plausible, cranky, vengeful or just highly undomesticated." Registration recommended. Grades 6-12.
