This special program brings together beloved Spanish art songs, and Latin American lyrical works, showcasing music shaped by the diverse cultures, rhythms, and stories of the Spanish-speaking world. From the elegance and dramatic intensity of Spain to the warmth and distinctive musical colors of Latin America, each selection offers a glimpse into a rich and varied artistic heritage. Performed by classical singer Lucia Panizza and Dr. Libor Dudas in the piano, the concert explores themes of love, longing, joy, homeland, and cultural identity through works that blend beautiful poetry with expressive melodies and vibrant rhythms.
