Community members are invited to join Mayor Jake Wilson, the City Council, and School Committee during the 2026 ‘Neighborhood Connect’ meeting series. Formerly known as City Hall Community Meetings, Neighborhood Connect will take place in each of Somerville’s seven wards. Meet local elected officials, neighbors, and City staff who will be ready to answer questions, share neighborhood updates, information on City initiatives, neighborhood crime stats, and more. Neighborhood Connect will debut a new meeting format, moving from formal presentations to a science-fair format with City staff setting up at tables. Meetings will kick off with quick citywide updates and a brief welcome from the Mayor and Ward Councilor before breaking to allow attendees to move about for one-on-one and small group conversations. All meetings will still start with a social half-hour with free pizza and snacks.
