Mark your calendar for our 7th Annual Jack-o-Lantern competition! How to participate: 1) Register below to enter the contest. If you are not sure whether you'll end up making a Jack-o-lantern - register anyway! You can always cancel your registration later. 2) Reserving a pumpkin : Reserve or decline a library-provided pumpkin while registering - one pumpkin per family -Pick Up Pumpkins: October 16-23 (excluding October 18) : Pick up a pumpkin at the library. Pumpkins are available on a first-come, first-serve basis while supplies last 3) Drop Off Pumpkins: October 23, 24, 26, & 27 : Drop off your carved & labeled pumpkin at the library. Please provide a name/title for your Jack-O-Lantern and label with your name on the bottom or back. 4) Viewing & Voting: October 28-29, 10 am - 8 pm : Walk through the pumpkin line up on Weezie's Patio outside the Children's Wing and vote for your favorites. Candles will go on around 5:00! 5) Reclaim your Pumpkin: October 30 - 31 : Don't forget to bring your pumpkin home to display for Halloween! Spectators welcome!
