Come Celebrate American’s 250 years of life and service!! This is an engaging and thought-provoking discussion group that takes a fresh look at the people, events and ideas that shaped our nation. Facilitated by Professor David Irving, a retired Professor of American History at Cambridge College. This interactive series will explore some of the most significant periods and events in American history including the colonial era, the founding of the nation, the American Revolution, the Civil War, as well as other pivotal moments that shaped the United States. Participants are encouraged to share perspectives and life experiences, ask question and explore history beyond the text book. This program is sponsored by the Rowley Council on Aging.
