Community Connections is a recurring program at both the Main Library and North Quincy Library locations, where community members get to meet and mingle with local community leaders and organizations while learning about their missions and resources. Join us this DV Awareness Month to meet ATASK (Asian Task Force Against DV) and DOVE, Inc. (Domestic Violence Ended) at the Main Library on October 10! Meet representatives from both organizations while we make friendship bracelets - limit 2 per guest; first come, first serve! ATASK (Asian Task Force Against DV) was incorporated in 1992 to address the gaps in services for Asian domestic violence survivors in the Greater Boston and Lowell areas, including low-income immigrants with limited English language capabilities.
