Wachusett Meadow Wildlife Sanctuary — 113 Goodnow Rd., Princeton, MA
The full moon transforms Wachusett Meadow's trails and meadows into a landscape totally foreign to the one you'll find by day. On this guided hike, a naturalist leads you through the moonlit sanctuary, sharing seasonal natural history and stories of the nocturnal wildlife active around you. Along the way, you'll learn how different species navigate, hunt, and communicate after dark, sharpening your own senses in the process. Come ready to slow down, tune in, and experience the sanctuary in a way most visitors never do. Be prepared to hike 1.5-2 miles over uneven terrain. The full program takes place outdoors, and the trail is unlit.
