Morrill Memorial Library is excited to host local author Thomas Bulen Jacobs for "Talking Craft" on Thursday, October 29 starting at 7:00pm in the Simoni Room. Enjoy a conversation about the craft of writing with local author Thomas Bulen Jacobs, whose debut novella Cyberscion is a cyberpunk sci-fi heist. Izzy Wasserstein calls it "... a delight, with engrossing worldbuilding, vivid characters, and a plot brimming with cyberpunk twists and turns. Jacobs delivers a heist narrative that’s propulsive, erudite, occasionally steamy, and always captivating." There will be a Q&A and a chance to purchase copies of the book at the end of the evening. About the author : Thomas Bulen Jacobs was raised overseas, mostly in South America, Turkey, and Spain. He is a graduate of St. John's College in Annapolis, MD and the New School in NYC. His fiction has appeared most recently in Obsidian , The Oddville Press , and Scribble Literary Journal , among others. His debut novella, Cyberscion , is available from Neon Hemlock Press.
