Hooray for Birds Grab and Go

Sunday, November 15, 2026 · 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Morrill Memorial Library — 33 Walpole St., Norwood, MA

Flap your wings and let your imagination take flight! Inspired by Hooray for Birds! by Lucy Cousins, this Grab and Go kit invites children to imagine what it would be like to be a bird. With fun, bird-themed crafts included, little ones can get creative while exploring the wonderful world of birds through imaginative play. Please note, the book must be checked out with a library card and returned to the library, but you can keep all the other materials in the kit to continue the learning and fun anytime. Perfect for young readers and their families! Registered participants can pick up the bags during the week of November 15th, 2026 (11/15-11/21) during library hours at the Children's Desk. If you have any questions, please contact CFCE Program Coordinator Liz Hogrell (ehogrell@minlib.net). CFCE Programming is funded and supported by a partnership between the Department of Early Education (EEC), the Morrill Memorial Library, and the Norwood Housing Authority.
