Baby Sign and Play

Join us for a playful and interactive workshop with Sheryl White of Baby Kneads and discover how to use sign language to communicate with your little one! Baby Sign Language offers many benefits. It allows babies to express themselves before they can speak verbally, supports early language development, deepens the bond between caregiver and child, and encourages early literacy skills. By learning simple signs such as “milk,” “more,” “sleep,” “eat,” “Mommy,” and “Daddy,” babies and toddlers can share their needs and wishes without frustration or tears. In each session, you’ll learn about the benefits and research behind baby sign, practice new signs each week, and watch Sheryl demonstrate signing with your baby. Baby Sign and Play is for caregivers with pre-verbal babies and toddlers. You’re welcome to sign up for one or multiple weeks. Both child and caregiver participate in the program.
