Celebrate Native American Heritage Month with a special self-guided StoryWalk® featuring Fry Bread: A Native American Family Story by Kevin Noble Maillard, illustrated by Juana Martinez-Neal. As you walk the grounds, follow the pages of this award-winning story and discover how fry bread connects family, culture, tradition, and community. This engaging outdoor experience invites children and families to enjoy a meaningful story while learning about an important part of Native American life and heritage. The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library in Montpelier, Vermont. Storywalk® is a registered service mark owned by the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. This is a free event. No registration necessary.
