Stony Brook Wildlife Sanctuary — 108 N St., Norfolk, MA
After dark, Stony Brook reveals a side of itself that most visitors never see. Step out onto even trails with a Mass Audubon naturalist, letting your eyes slowly adjust while you tune in to the sounds and signs of nocturnal wildlife. Play sensory games in the dark; learn how animals navigate, find food, and stay safe through the night; and come away with a sharper sense of the living world after sunset. Flashlights are welcome, but you might find your favorite moments happen when you tuck yours away. Meet at the visitor center. This program takes place entirely in low light on flat terrain. Please dress for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes.
