Sunday, January 24, 2027 · 10:00 AM – 10:35 AM

Newton North Indoor Rec Center — 457 Walnut St., Newton, MA

About the Program

Parks & Recreation offers indoor youth swimming lessons held at the Newton North High School Pool. Classes are held Sunday mornings and we offer three sessions throughout the school year. The Swim Lessons are taught by Parks & Recreation Aquatics staff. The lessons follow an American Red Cross curriculum, adjusted to each class as necessary. We offer a variety of levels from preschool aquatics to level 6. The Learn-to-Swim program focuses on building skills one step at a time. By giving them the opportunity to master one element before moving on to the next, our kids' swim classes make it easy to build confidence in the water.
