The Newburyport Public Library is pleased to welcome author Robert Fitzgibbon for an evening exploring local history and true crime. In his latest book "Murder in Salem Massachusetts: The Death of Frances Cochran," Rob explores the story of a young woman who stepped off a commuter bus, got into a mysterious black car, and was not seen again until her body was discovered three days later. This cold case captured the imagination of a post war nation and now Rob invites us to join him as he examines what is known, what is suspected and a story shrouded in the mystery and witchcraft of a region known for magic and hauntings.
