Celebrate the Moon Festival with author Windy Pham in this fun, hands-on cultural experience for children and families! Children will: Enjoy an interactive storytime and learn about the Moon Festival Make and decorate their own lantern Decorate a lion dance puppet Create a playdough mooncake and sample a traditional mooncake Perfect for children ages 3 - 8 and their families, this engaging workshop introduces the traditions of the Moon Festival through stories, art, and creative play while celebrating Asian culture and community. This program is supported in part by a grant from the Needham Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.
