This program is for adults; supplies are limited and registration is required.* Bring a unique, personal touch to your holiday season with a relaxing workshop in mindful crafting. Participants will explore the traditional Japanese art of Chigiri-e—the beautiful process of "painting" with hand-torn Washi (artisan Japanese paper) to create rich, beautifully textured autumn designs. In this session, you will craft a classic blank folded card (complete with an envelope) or a beautiful postcard. Use your creation to mail warm holiday wishes across the miles to faraway family, or feature it as an elegant, handmade accent for your dinner table. No prior art experience is necessary—just a gentle invitation to step away from screens, enjoy tactile materials, and create something beautiful around a shared table.
