Registration for this event is suggested, but not required. Patrons who register will receive an event reminder and any updates about the event. Registration also helps us know how many chairs we need. Flamenco is a vibrant and deeply expressive art form born from the cultural crossroads of southern Spain, shaped by Andalusian, Moorish, Sephardic Jewish, Romani, and Indian influences. Combining dynamic footwork, intricate guitar playing, and powerful emotional singing, flamenco brings together music, dance, and storytelling in a uniquely captivating way. Flamenco Boston, comprised of a dancer, singer, and guitarist, will showcase the wide emotional range this art form has to offer. This program is funded in part by a grant from the Natick Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency and the Friends of the Library.
