The Opening Event for the 6th Annual Fiber Art Exhibit at the Morse Institute Library is an opportunity to see the entire show and meet many of the artists and guilds participating in this year’s exhibit. In addition to the exhibit, you can help us Build a Worldling Community with a hands-on crafting workshop run by artists in the i3C Collective, watch a live lace-making demonstration, and interact with models wearing bespoke garments. This year’s exhibit features quilts, fiber sculptures, felted sculptures, lace, crochet and knitting, embroidery, bespoke garments, and weaving from local artists. The artists and guilds include: Boston Modern Quilt Guild, County Line Quilt Guild, i3C Collective, Mayflower Sampler Guild, Morse Institute Library Stitchers, New England Lace Guild, Laurie Adelstein, Robin Chalfin, Julia Csekö, Virginia Fitzgerald, Cindy Kennelly, Stephanie Oddleifson, Cynthia Walat, and Kim Wilson.
