This workshop introduces children in Grades 2-5 to the basic elements of creative writing and guides them in developing stories of their own. Each session will include a brief lesson, a writing exercise, and a dedicated period of quiet writing. Students will also have the opportunity to complete writing prompts at home and receive feedback from the host. The goal is to create a safe, supportive space where students can express themselves creatively and build confidence in themselves. Registration for this program is required, and will open two weeks before the event date. This program will take place in the Story Hour Room and is for kids in Grades 2-5.
