Needle felt the adorable axolotl salamanders of Mexico. Known for their smiling face and feathery gills, you'll view pictures and learn more about them. In this beginner's class, Pop Up Art School will show you how to sculpt basic shapes using a barbed needle and wool roving. Needle felting is easier than it looks, and it's fun and relaxing! This class is for teens 12+ PLEASE NOTE: Due to the popularity of our art programs, the Millbury Public Library will approve patrons by lottery and require that you arrive five to ten minutes early for the class. If you are not on time, your registration will be cancelled. Late arrivals will not be accepted into the program, and that space will be filled with patrons from the waiting list. Once the program has begun, a sign will be posted on the doors to let patrons know that they cannot enter after this time, out of respect for the presenter. If you are unable to attend, please contact the library 24 hours in advance at 508-865-1181, so that we may contact a patron from the waiting list. Thank you. This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Millbury Public Library.
