Join the Children's Room for an ongoing series of Community Helper Story Times, starting off with a Melrose firefighter! Captain Sam Parsons will talk about being a firefighter and read a firefighting story. We will sing songs to move and groove as well. Stay for a craft or activity at the end as well to celebrate firefighters and learn more. This program is recommended for kids and families ages 0-8. Bring a blanket or chairs to sit on. Caregivers must remain with children during the event. This program is outside, weather permitting. No registration necessary. In case of bad weather, there is an indoor rain location inside the library (doors open until room capacity is reached).
