Discover the amazing world of monarch butterflies! Learn about each stage of a monarch’s metamorphosis—from egg to caterpillar, chrysalis, and finally butterfly—and explore some fascinating facts about what happens along the way. We’ll take a closer look at monarch anatomy, learn how to tell male and female butterflies apart, and follow their incredible migration to Mexico. We’ll also discover how multiple generations of monarchs take part in this remarkable journey! Afterward, we’ll enjoy a monarch-themed story and create a colorful stained-glass butterfly craft to take home. We may even get an up-close look at live monarch caterpillars and/or butterflies, depending on their stage of development! *This program is designed for children in grades 1–4*
