Babysitters' Training with UMass Amherst 4H Youth Development The 4-H Babysitters Training Course teaches youth ages 11 and older what they need to know to be caring, trustworthy, responsible and competent babysitters. The 6-12 session course includes units on:
- Safety
- First Aid
- Child Development
- Nutrition
- Entertaining Children
- Business of Babysitting
Students must attend both sessions on Sundays, December 6th and 13th from 12:30-4:30 p.m. to earn their certificate. Please bring $15 to the first class to help us offset the cost of this course. If this fee will prevent you from being able to attend, the Friends of the Library will gladly cover it for you! We need at least 10 registrants by Monday, November 30th to run this course.
