Stories & Treasures from Deep Within: What Archaeological Findings in Medfield and Beyond Tell Us Join us for this special panel program in partnership with Medfield Historical Society, Council on Aging and Medfield Public Library to hear from state experts and gain Indigenous perspectives on various aspects of archaeology as part of Archaeology Month. Our panelists will share information that helps to tell the story of ancestral Indigenous homelands long before Medfield’s incorporation in 1651. Featured panelists: Duncan Ritchie , Senior Archaeologist and Principal Investigator with the Public Archaeology Lab in Pawtucket. Stephen Mrozowski , Founding Director of the Andrew Fiske Memorial Center for Archaeological Research at the University of Massachusetts Boston, and Professor of Anthropology. Brittney Peauwe Wunnepog Walley , Nipmuc artist, historian and project assistant at the Institute for New England Native American Studies at University of Massachusetts Boston.
