Pumped for pumpkin season? We've got just the thing! Celebrate all things orange, round, and gourd-eous at BNC's Pumpkin Festival. Carve your own pumpkin to take home and explore the history of this iconic harvest symbol—from its agricultural origins to the Jack-O'-Lantern tradition we know today. Wander through a colorful autumn scavenger hunt across the sanctuary, play fall-themed games, and learn about fall ecology. Enjoy delicious roasted seeds from your own carved creation while you celebrate. A pumpkin donated from Ward's Berry Farm and all carving tools are included in the price of registration. Meet at the Nature Center. A pumpkin and all carving tools are included. Ample parking, bathrooms, and a water bottle filling station available on site. This program is free for Dot Rx members.
