Nature Journaling in the Wild

Sunday, February 7, 2027 · 10:30 AM

Boston Nature Center and Wildlife Sanctuary — 500 Walk Hill St., Mattapan, MA

Love to journal, sketch, and study nature? Connect with nature on a new level by slowing down, looking closely, and putting your creative energy on the page with the help of a skilled instructor. We will explore cold-weather topics through prompts, observing bare branches, animal signs, and the first stirrings of the season, while building a connected community with similar creative interests. You will leave with creative expressions and a deeper appreciation for what is growing and moving around you. All experience levels are welcome, with materials available to use. This program is free for Dot Rx members. Email [email protected] to register. Most of this program takes place indoors, with a short outdoor portion on the sanctuary's flat, fully accessible trails. Trail surfaces may be uneven or slippery from snow or ice at this time of year. In the event of severe weather conditions, the program may be cancelled or postponed. More details on what to bring and expect will be emailed to you ahead of the program.
